Anagen: growing phase
It is the longest phase of the hair growth and lasts about 3 to 5 years for the hair on your head. In some cases, single hair does grow, up to 7 years. Fortunately, this timeline is different for different types of hair. For example, the anagen phase for eyebrow and pubic hair is way more different than the scalp hair. Catagen phase: the transition phase

Telogen phase: resting phase

Exogen phase: shedding phase
The phase is the extension of hairs, or we can say this is part of the telogen phase. During this phase, hair shed from the scalp. In this phase, you may lose 50 to 100 hair per day, which is normal. This phase lasts about 2 to 5 months. New hair grows while the old hair falls off.
