Fruit, what a delicious thing to eat isn’t it? Having fruits give us freshness which we hardly get anywhere. Your healthy diet is empty without fruits. There are many health benefits you can get from fruits and they also decrease the risk of many diseases. Fruits are high in vitamins and minerals. Vitamins including C, potassium, folate, fiber, Omega C, and other vital nutrients. Eating fiber will help you to lower your cholesterol level and contribute to weight loss over time.
Also, fruits are loaded with antioxidants which help you to remove the free radicals present in your body. Eating a diet with high antioxidants will also help you with slow aging and reduces the risk of diseases.
But people are concerned with the sugar present in the fruit, they believe it is harmful. So, the answer is a big “No.” But you need to focus on what kind of fruit you are eating. As things are developing, so are food and the environment. The fruits and vegetables we are eating are not that good, because they are grown by the farmers with chemicals and pesticides. If you are feasible to access organic food then you should eat them without thinking too much.
The real question is how much fruit should we eat? I will tell you my example, there was a time when I used to eat a lot of snacks like chips and cookies. Also, I ate a lot of fast food like dumplings, cold drinks, and oily foodstuff. Now, the thing I did was that I replace snacks and fast food with fruits. I have started eating bananas, apples, grapes, and pineapple, etc. Along with that, I prefer fruit shakes. Try this for a few months and you see a change in your body. And don’t put sugar in shakes because fruits already contains sugar which good for you.
